Street-Style Pani Puri at Home
Step 1: Make the Spicy Green Paste
1. Wash the fresh mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, and ginger thoroughly under running water.
2. Put them all into a blender jar with a small splash of water.
3. Blend until you get a smooth, bright green paste.
Step 2: Prepare the Tangy Pani
1. Pour the green paste into a large mixing bowl or pitcher.
2. Add 3 to 4 cups of chilled water to the paste.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of Farm Spices Pani Puri Masala, lemon juice (or tamarind paste), and salt to taste.
4. Stir everything well. Taste the water—if you want it tangier or spicier, feel free to add a little more FarmSpices Pani Puri Masala.
5. Throw in a handful of boondi on top and keep the water chilled in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
Step 3: Prepare the Potato Filling
1. Take your boiled mashed potatoes and boiled black chickpeas in a mixing bowl.
2. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of Farm Spices Pani Puri Masala, a little salt, and chopped coriander over them.
3. Mix everything together using a spoon or your hands until well combined.
Step 4: Assemble and Enjoy!
1. Take a crispy puri and gently poke a small hole in the top center using your thumb.
2. Stuff a spoonful of the potato and chickpea filling inside.
3. Add a drops of sweet tamarind chutney if you like it a bit sweet.
4. Give your chilled Farm Spices green pani a quick stir, fill the puri to the top, and pop the whole puri inyour mouth in one go!
